Miss Asia Pacific World contest is held in Korea and Japan. Former Miss Sri Lanka Gayesha Perera has been selected to represent Sri Lanka at this event where participants from around 50 countries have consented and are geared to participate ,it is learnt from well informed sources. This contest is to be held for the second occasion.
Last year Ukranian girl Diana Swatkowic was declared the winner. She was given the opportunity to act in a film to portray the character of Benazir Bhutto.
