CEAT People's Player of the Year 2012




Kumar Sangakkara reiterated his status as a cricketing colossus winning three top awards — the CEAT Cricketer of the Year, CEAT Peoples Player of the Year and Best Test Batsman, at the 2012 CEAT Sri Lanka Cricket Awards.

By the evening of Monday, 27 August, public voting via SMS and on-line had identified in random order, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardena, Tillekeratne Dilshan, Angelo Mathews and Thisara Perera as the leading contenders for this coveted accolade, presented annually by Sri Lanka’s leading tyre manufacturer CEAT Kelani Holdings.

Voting will commence on the 10th August 2012 and close at midnight on the 1st September 2012.
